LOS ANGELES: Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles was graced with the premiere for Pitch Perfect 2. The extra large tents were set up in anticipation of light rain (rare in Los Angeles). That didn’t seem to stop fans as they flooded Nokia Live in DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles) to see their celebrity favorites. Elizabeth Banks, Hailee Steinfeld, Skylar Astin, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Bella Thorne, Anna Kendrick and others attended the red carpet premiere. In addition to the premiere and after party there was a pre party celebration for fans due to the overwhelming popularity of the film and its stars. The entire event, with the after party ended up being close to 7 hours in length. Quite a marketing campaign.

PLOT:
“Following an incident involving Fat Amy and a wardrobe malfunction at the Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas are suspended from the circuit of A Capella performing. In order to regain their status, the Bellas enter the international competition, a colossal task seeing as how no American team has ever won.”
The after party was held at a nearby event space where most of the cast members and movie affiliates joined in on the celebration. Seth MacFarlane made an appearance as did other dynamic Hollywood executives.
