Luxury British fashion label Beulah London, favoured by celebrities such as The Duchess of Cambridge, Jessica Alba and Tess Daly, kicks off LFW in style with the launch of their much anticipated AW13 collection at the Bungalow 8 pop-up at Belgraves, A Thompson Hotel, Knightsbridge. Bungalow 8 Founder Amy Sacco is a strong advocate of Beulah’s story and is excited to host the event as a supporter of young entrepreneurs. With the help of her brand director Federica Amati, a synergy was formed to create an event that can showcase Beulah’s wonderful work to an international audience.
Beulah London, launched in 2011 by Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan, helps provide a sustainable livelihood to those that have come out of sex trafficking. The name ‘Beulah’ represents the journey of a woman coming out of despair into a new life of hope and restoration. The founders launched the label after working together in the Delhi slums with women and girls who had been forced into prostitution. With each beautiful garment that you buy, there is an equally beautiful change happening somewhere else in the world, something that Beulah like to call their butterfly effect.
