LOS ANGELES: HOLLYWOOD
Summer is in the air regardless of it still being Spring. Hollywood Boulevard was closed off again near Highland for the latest red carpet premiere, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Crowds upon crowds of fans flooded the street on both sides as all of the cast members attended the premiere. Who was there? Samuel L. Jackson, Stan Lee, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Robert Downey Jr., Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau and more. It was a big red carpet roll out and one of the most anticipated movie releases for 2015. The crowds were filled with excitement as screams for their favorite Avenger could be hear everywhere. The fortunate few received selfies with their favorite celebrity.
“With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, Ultron: a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence. However, his plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth, leaving it up to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him. Along the way the Avengers encounter the powerful twins Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as a new entity, the Vision.”
The after party was held at an undisclosed location nearby the El Capitan Theatre where the movie premiered. Guests were discouraged by security from taking photos. However, the cast members seemed all to happy and even suggested for guests to snap some shots of them at the fantastic celebration marking the end of a great film project and celebrating its launch for the public.
Mark Ruffalo showed up with his family to the red carpet and after party, not forgetting that children enjoy the Avengers storyline just as much as adults if not more. Nearly all of the cast members showed up for the post premiere party including late comer Stan Lee (showed up towards the end). A warm celebration with friendly cast members that went on until a little past 1AM in the morning. A sense of true camaraderie between all of the people both in the film and behind the scenes was present. One of the better of the big blockbuster movie release parties for 2015.
