LOS ANGELES: Hollywood
Yes it’s true, the True Blood series has finally come to an end. Several cast members: Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Deborah Ann Woll, Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell, Joe Manganiello and more arrived for the red carpet premiere in Hollywood. However, there is a Broadway musical based on the HBO series that will be showing soon. It’s good to keep the actors working in character, regardless of theatre or television. I am sure fans will be hyper critical opposed to the HBO series itself, but all things must come to an end. That being said, True Blood had a fantastic run bringing sexy vampires into the limelight (or was that already done in INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE?)
“True Blood series produced and created by Alan Ball. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in northwestern Louisiana. The series centers on the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress with an otherworldly quality.”
On the red carpet actors held up the social media card #TrueToTheEnd to commemorate not only the final season but loyalty to all fans and followers. Off the red carpet, fans were greeted by their favorite actor or actress who more than kindly took selfies and autographed photos for them. Security was tighter due to recent pranksters. However, the crowd was tame as there were not any red carpet crazy crashers trying to kiss any of the celebrities.
Attendees and celebs made their way to an official after party located at the Roosevelt Hotel close by. Hollywood stars work around the clock for their fans. It was with much appreciation from admirers as the celebrities posed for more photos into the night.
