It’s not everyday a Hollywood power couple attend a red carpet premiere together with their kids, admirers, colleagues and one attacker. Yes, the Maleficent premiere starring Angelina Jolie became a backdrop for a misdemeanor attack by a Ukrainian named Vitalii Sediuk. Media sources say he typically “drops to his knees and tries to hug or kiss celebrities.” If he goes to prison he may be dropping to his knees more often. Brad Pitt was the target as he attended his wife’s premiere with their children showing support. Jon Voight (Angelina’s father) also attended as did the cast members for the film.

It is safe to say that Angelina Jolie (star, mother, philanthropist, wife and mega celebrity of many feature films in Hollywood) with her husband Brad Pitt, stole the entire red carpet (in this case it was a blue carpet) media coverage experience for the premiere. Brad, who wasn’t even in the film, received more media attention (including his attacker) than cast members such as Elle Fanning (who looked stunning but was overwhelmed by Brangelina) or Juno Temple (English) who starred alongside Angelina in the movie and Brad for the carpet.

Some fans were waiting to see if the Fight Club star, Brad Pitt, would react to his assailant’s advance. But LAPD was too quick on the scene. The Ukrainian prankster was given a VIP escort off of the blue carpet straight to the police station.
