Big movies have big premieres. Interstellar was no exception as the A-List actors trotted down the black carpet (red carpet) premiere to smile and greet the press. Fans swarmed around the celebrities along Hollywood Blvd. to get a glimpse, signature of selfie with the celebs. Matthew MacConoughey, Anne Hathaway, Wes Bentley, Jessica Chastain, Mackenzie Foy and others attended the premiere. It was rumored at the after party that Matthew macconaughey signed nearly 1000 autographs alone. it was no wonder he was a bit camera shy at the after party.

PLOT:
“With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. When a wormhole (which can theoretically connect widely separated regions of spacetime) is discovered, explorers and scientists unite to embark on a voyage through it, transcending the normal limits of human space travel. Although it looked like what an A-List after party should be staged as by appearance. It was a bit dry with several industry professionals, perhaps “one offs’ from the the film, looking to mingle and validate themselves business-wise. It was a “party” but seemed more like a conference with a party in the background. At least Matthew McConaughey and Esai Morales separated themselves from the bunch. Matthew had his own corner with wife and close friends and associates, sipping drinks and laughing most of the time. We are glad that he was one of the later persons to leave the after party. Esai morales also chatted up a few people over a light bite, keeping to his close colleagues and also avoiding the “business mingling” crowd. after all people, it was a party! The queen of the room had to be anne hathaway. She certainly social business butterflied here way around the room. she looked great while doing it also. too bad the celebrities were tired from all pre-black carpet autographs as we would have loved to grab a few close up shots from the after party.
