NEW YORK: Upper East Side
Belgian gallery owner and international art dealer Gregoire Vogelsang hosted a cocktail party in New York last week in order to introduce to collectors the Art Fair he is launching with his partner Philippe Parel in Brussels this fall.
“Brussels is the New Berlin for art,” states the New York Times in an article last April, “Belgium has in fact a strong collecting tradition. It’s both a city of commerce and creation” says founder Gregoire Vogelsang while giving us a tour of the beautiful Upper East side townhouse of famed interior designer Antoine Van Doorne, where the cocktail party took place.

Cube Art Fair: The American Art Fair of Brussels, will take place November 17-20, 2016 in the European Capital and will feature the works of Frank Stella among many other established and mid-career American artists such as Cassandria Blackmore (Santa Barbara), Carlos Andres Varela (New York), Soraya Doolbaz (New York), Moshe Elimelech (Los Angeles), Brett Loving (Hamptons) & Bernard Desjardins (Miami).
Launching Cube Art Fair is the perfect transition for Gregoire Vogelsang of eponymously named Vogelsang Gallery. Having participated in over 50 art fairs around the world (Miami, Hamptons, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Singapore, etc), Gregoire observes an opportunity to connect American artists with European collectors. With the gift of the gab, a flair for connecting people and a talent for organizing magical parties, it’s no mystery why Cube Art Fair is fully booked with collectors flying in from all over Europe (and America) for the occasion.
