LONDON: Mayfair
Charlie Berkeley Street is one of London’s latest premiere nightclubs. Opened this past September, already it has attracted lots of attention. Cool crowd filled with pretty people seems to be the night recipe for this off Berkeley Square venue.
Inspired by the decadence of the Twenties, but with a modern flair, guests are welcomed to an interior of warm wood, rich leathers and vintage furniture mixed with a bit of the latest technology.
In addition, the club recently announced that with Charlie is the world’s first resident Haig Club Room – London’s only permanent space dedicated to the Single Grain Scotch Whisky, bearing the same name, launched by Diageo in partnership with global icon David Beckham and entrepreneur Simon Fuller.
Early in the 1920’s Haig Scotch Whisky was hailed as ‘the original clubman’s whisky’ in an eponymous series of adverts depicting a diverse array of British social clubs. Today, Charlie Berkeley Street becomes part of that timeline. The Haig Room will be available to members only. But fear not as the club’s scene is sure to be red hot throughout the venue!
