MJB, the British designer collaborates with Mortal Kombat, Superstar DJ Dimitri Vegas and Everlast to bring the Worlds of fashion, video gaming, music and sport together, to celebrate the launch of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, the new video game.
MJB, the British designer, is bringing together fashion, video gaming, sports and music in his biggest collaboration to date. A unique collaboration will see innovative British designer MJB collaborating, with the legendary video game Mortal Kombat and world famous boxing brand Everlast to celebrate the launch of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. Superstar singer Megan Thee Stallion, MMA fighter Michael Venom Page, Super DJ Dimitri Vegas and British rapper M24 all featured in the campaign.
MJB, has built within Selfridges an immersive 90s retro arcade. The pop up features, real retro Mortal Kombat arcades, pinball machines and Everlast punch bags. The pop up opens this Wednesday 2nd of December. Shoppers can expect to feel as though they have been transported into a real-life 90’s video gaming arcade as they come eye to eye with the immersive display of Mortal Kombat graphics, retro arcade machines (free to play) and identical display arcade structures showcasing the collaborations clothing capsule and branded accessories such as boxing gloves, playing cards, sticker packs and recycled notebooks.
The limited edition capsule brings together Mortal Kombat characters in MJB clothing. The collection includes four variations of MJB’s signature masked hoodies featuring Mortal Kombat’s key characters, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden and Baraka and the iconic Mortal Kombat dragon logo. The signature, MJB masked hoodies all have, Mortal Kombat character masks silk screen printed onto the hooded masks. The Sub-Zero collection, was designed with Dimitri Vegas, one of the biggest electronic DJs in the world and also a playable character in the Mortal Kombat game.
Everlast the legendary boxing brand, worn by the likes of Muhammed Ali and Mike Tyson, has come into the fold and collaborated with MJB to create co-branded Mortal Kombat and MJB clothing using upcycled vintage British Military fabric. The collection includes triple cut, hand stitched upcycled t-shirts, upcycled British army shorts and classic boxing shorts – all finished with MJB’s famous 70’s punk stitching. Co-branded collectable items and accessories include hand-painted boxing gloves, head protectors and punch bags.
Eco-friendly water bottles, playing cards, sticker packs and notebooks are amongst a handful of smaller branded pickup items that will make great stocking fillers.

‘the collaboration means a lot to me. It is our biggest and came about in the UK’s first lock down. We have brought together the worlds of fashion, video gaming, music and sport with Dimitri Vegas, Megan Thee Stallion and Michael Venom Page. We are now launching it in the UK’s second lock down. It has not always been easy but I wanted to show myself and others, that there are ways to adapt and still launch. It is so great to see the arcade pop up at Selfridges. It will be epic to see people interact with the arcade pop up at Selfridges.’
