LOS ANGELES: Beverly Hills
The winter heatwave couldn’t have provided a better backdrop for the Moet & Chandon event honoring Roger Federer for his 1000th career win in the tennis world. Roger is a Swiss born professional tennis player who has won Wimbledon, Australian Open, US Open several times as well as the French Open. He is also a brand ambassador for Moet & Chandon. A miniature tennis court designed in Moet & Chandon colors served as the “stage” for this exclusive VIP event. Zoe Saldana presented an award of recognition from the company to Roger.

Both Roger Federer and Zoe Saldana took photos and interviewed with onsite press. Roger, a bit more gracious, spent nearly 30 minutes indulging guests with photos and selfies. A champion and world class person, his true spirit of thanks was appreciated by guests and fans alike. Class is not something one can just pick up at the grocery store or try to get buy purchasing expensive items. It is something gained over time and Roger certainly exemplified it the entire evening.
