You know it’s going to be a good party when the red carpet itself is titled the “$3 Million Wall”. It was constructed of $3,200,000 worth of the heavily cherished Crème de La Mer jars (filled). Hollywood celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Nicole Richie and others attended the iconic 50 year anniversary celebration.

Just like the New York parties of old, Los Angeles is getting it right with a lavish over the top celebration complete with an abundance of goodie bags filled with products as a “thank you for coming” gesture. The Atomics energized the night even more as they played for guests in the “floating in the sea” decorated room. A subtle and sweet affair with conservative mingling and undertones of “all business” tonight did seem to cut through the room a bit. Nevertheless, invited guests managed to drink too much as the Ubers lined up to collect them outside.
